Walls
26 February, 2004
Author: Shaun
grab hold take it like it comes
tell me to deal with it like you know
tired of taking it tired of dealing with it
i want mine i want my dream ive waited for my time
which passed me by not even slowing to take a look
ive waited for my dreams but a wall has always been there
seperating me from them an inpenetratable wall taking no destruction with my hits, only hurting me more.
why does life give us these challanges does it make us stronger everytime i hit the wall it makes me weaker and slowly my dreams slip away from me, and the look in your eyes becomes more distant as the sand falls tieing me down with pain and sorrow for never wanting to lose what means most behind the wall slowly taking a part of me with it and leaving me with emptiness wiht nothing to fill the space except what lies behind my immobile brace
