Loving And Waiting
18 December, 2003
Author: Shorty
I lie there in my bed,
The sweet words you’d said ringing in my ears.
I miss you.
So I climb onto the cloud outside my bedroom window,
And you were already there…just waiting.
I say I love you and you say it back.
My alarm clock goes off,
I see you at school,
I say I love you,
And stand there…just waiting.
Then I realize you must be waiting for someone else in my dreams,
Not me.
And I’ll always be here,
Loving and waiting.
