Never Happy
10 April, 2004
Author: Barbara Goodhew
It makes me sick when people whine.
You're afraid to ask how they are becaus it's never fine.
Here you are can't talk right, can't walk right, can't
work anymore.
They say things are rough for them , they wish they
disabled and getting help more.
It is easy to see the plusses.
What they don't let you see is the minuses.
Like our frustration doing everyday things,
Trying to make others understand what we are saying.
If you have all your limbs andhave no pains,
Are capable and can do things and have your gains.
BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
"The grass isn't greener on this side of
the fence."

I sometimes too take things for granted, instead of being grateful for being blessed and just being alive! Your poem "Never Happy" was dynamite! I think you stepped on quite a few toes; because I know mine were stepped on! (Hhhahha) Good one Barb! Meridian |

Capricorn (82.36.129.85) -- Tuesday, April 13 2004, 01:07 am Hey Barb... you know there are some people who thrive on moaning about their life, they're happy so long as they've got something to moan about. Great Poem!! |
