Lasting Lines

Poetic ink was not meant to die,
Neither in short nor in long run,
Oceans may go dry,
Lines inscribed on the heart cant be undone!!!!
The natural human has an eye for beauty,
A heart for juvenile songs,
While filling fast the booty,
The heart starves, for simplicity, it longs!
Twenty five years (almost) have passed this way,
More fifty are in the queue,
Knowing its difficult to play,
Still too intoxicating to be left, is the brew!!!
A belief in simplicity thats profound,
Offers courage to pass statements bold,
To gifts of nature, my heart is bound,
It just waits for them, to unfold!
Living in the now I am,
Money, not work, is a problem,
Having much more than what's required,
Has failed to leave me inspired!!!
My views don't expect their generalisation,
And few shall accompany me uphill,
Since the dogma is going on for many a generation,
To erase, time take it will!!!!
Lets enjoy the gift of life that's offered,
With every blossomed rose seen, every forest song heard,
We may not have to say therefore,
The human breed alas, is no more!!!
