Glamour Girl
5 June, 2002
Author: Sookie
All the guys liked her for
her glitter and glam.
She studied her makeup
and not for exams.
"She's the school whore"
all would say.
They didn't care because
she didn't have feelings anyway.
When she got pregnant
no one was surprised
she was kicked out of her house
she was what we all despised.
Who was the father?
The rumors went 'round
She lived on the streets
by the outskirts of town.
The judgments ceased
when they found her dead
she had got depressed
because of what they said

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Saturday, August 28 2004, 09:05 pm Nice poem Sookie! It makes me look deep within myself, and say, "don't judge anyone, if you don't know them that well".....meaning, some people who may do bad things, probably have come from a terrible environment, and maybe that's the only way they know how to live..... I'm not trying to give them the upper hand or anything, but it's sad when people commit suicide over depression.... Some people don't know how to be discreet about certain things, they don't know how to keep their big mouths shut.... The tongue is the worst weapon of all.... Sweet and sour poem! Smiles, Meri |
