To Catch A Moment
13 January, 2003
Author: Stacy
moments on Time's ceaseless winds will fly
thin as the air -- reeling, fluttering by
but this picture from time may steal shaded glimpses
of shadowed memories for our selfish reminiscence
and tease us, play games upon the hopeful mind
as it feeds us thoughts that time past may again fall behind
but let us here, in this frame, play in time suspended
in shadows of the past, though our present is nearly ended
and whether or no the fickle winds of time should again see us together
let this shadow of a moment remember us forever..
