Song Of My Soul
14 November, 2002
Author: Stacy
The song of my soul echoes within
Not to be heard past the walls of my skin.
Captured inside by the barriers I've erected
To be heard, in part, by those few I've selected.
Deafening confusion, pressure mounting inside
My own confusion, with time, becomes harder to hide.
In this echoing capsule, a cacophony of sound
A beautiful melody eager to escape its bounds.
Yearning for my defeat of fear's relentless wall
So it can play true chords for the listening of all.
