Don't Leave
10 November, 2002

Please don't ever leave me here
Alone
Cold
Stripped of your blanketing love
In this bitter world
And I know you despise it,
Yearn for eternity,
For nothingness.
And I know how you feel,
As I sometimes feel it, too
As if I'm trapped in Life's desolate room,
With Death, the only door of escape.
But we can revel in our own world of love
We can hold on to each other,
We can be our own happiness.
I can be your purpose,
And you can be mine.
I need you.
I love you.
And I cannot survive without your warmth,
Without your touch, your smile, your words,
Without a reason to live
Without you.
