Mirror Reflections

She looks in the mirror and what does she see
An empty reflection of who she should be.
Her tale to tell but, who really cares
Her questions unanswered, the risks that she dares.
She lays awake in the middle of the night
Searching for the answers, Searching for the light.
So scared and unsure of what it is that she feels
Only time will tell if love truly does heal.
Her insecurities is all that she feels
How does she know if his love is for real.
She's scared that she'll chase him away to fast
How can this happiness be made to last.
Trying to trust and believe in his heart
I guess that would be a really good start.
Believe in him and hope for the best
Stop trying to put his love to the test.
Enjoy each day together as if it were the last
take all the fears and allow them to surpass.
She looks in the mirror and what does she see
All the answers were there, she just had to let them be.
