Heaven's Angel
21 February, 2001
Author: Stephanie
I never thought I could see,
The most beautiful angel you could be.
I remember the first time I saw you,
I wanted to hold you and kiss you.
The most elegant man I've ever seen before,
It was like seeing you by heaven's door.
You were so pure, no lines on your face,
It was like seeing a man, from God's secret place.
My eyes caught yours and held in place,
The smile you gave, I can never erase.
The soft whisper of you saying " hi ",
Made my heart skip and I wanted to die.
In your presence it cannot be,
For you and me, for us to see.
But words couldn't say what I feel,
I thought this was a dream, something not real.
In your eyes I saw a beautiful sight,
Something enchanting and yet so bright.
Never before have I seen such eyes,
Ones that took me by surprise.
The more I see you, the more my heart turns,
And your gentle touch, my body yearns.
Please understand what I'm trying to say,
And make me the woman, you dream of today.
