Illusions
4 August, 2000
Author: Sundae
Illusions play games, they trick your eyes, into thinking you see what is not there.
You see what you want, they show you all good, in this world of havoc, warping what is real to no eternity, ending the faith we have in what we can see.
They twist your thoughts in deep knots of pain, warping the truth, blurring all that you care to see, showing infinity,
If they showed the truth, people would not live, the pain would be too great for them to understand.
Illusions last through eternity, only showing things that are clear to you and me.
Chorus:
Illusions will blind
Illusions will blur
Illusions will distort
all that is real!
I don't care, to understand, why we put ourselves through all that is real, why we don't turn away, and bring in illusions to cloud our minds, distort our thoughts, send the pain away!
