I Want You Here

I've wasted too much time here waiting
I wasted all my time on you
The fantasy I've been creating
I've found was never to come true
I wish I could forget everything
I wish I could forget that you are everything
I wish I could tell you everything
I wish I could tell you that you are everything
I hate it when you touch me like this
You have got me feeling so confused
This pain is so hard to dismiss
My heart is broken down and bruised
Now, have you really missed me all this time
Or was I buried deep in the back of your mind
Beneath the emptiness and masks and lies
Or did you truly see what was in my eyes
I'm sick and tired of wishing you were near
When all your presence brings is fear
The reasoning is not so clear
I don't know why, but I want you here
