Who Are You

Are you the little girl
your dad tries to protect?
Are you the b*tch,
people wish to forget?
Are you the joker
always clowning around?
Are you the drunk
who falls on the ground?
Are you happy
or are you sad?
Are you a good girl
or are you bad?
Who are you,
I'd like to know.
A good friend,
or someone better kept a foe?
I am all the above,
and so much more.
I am emotional,
and I am raw.
I am full of laughter,
that turns to tears
I am tough and brave
despite my fears.
I am all that I love,
and all that I hate.
I am my worst enemy,
and my best mate.
I am an unknown truth
and a predictable surprise.
I am a beautiful reflection
that I despise.
