To a friend I hold dear
To a friend I hold near
You will always be my friend
helped me out threw thick and thin
You know who you are because
you are a shining star
You helped me out from afar
When you read this you will know
my friend ship I hope I show
I hope you see by this poem how much
you truly mean to me
I know we have been threw some bad times
but things will get better this I know
I give you this poem to show
Like a star you shine so bright
you help me threw the darkest night
Perhaps one day something good will come to me
and then my feelings can be free
Friends are forever
this is true
good friends and that is you
