Summer Breeze
12 June, 2000
Author: Tammie Groat
Summer breeze starts to blow
I watch the clouds roll by so slow
I wish that time would stand still
Maybe if I wish hard it will
Laying down on my back on the grass looking up at the sky
I wish I where a bird then there I might could fly
Playing in and out of the clouds above
If I where a bird that I would love
Far away from the crowds of people I would go
Up in the clouds that roll slow
seeing a rainbow the colors that glow
I love the day I love it so
Forever forever my love will grow.
I close my eyes and go to sleep
The day in my heart I will keep
