Holding Only Memories by Tammy

I can't sleep again tonight.
Your memory is soaring through my mind.
Thoughts of you...your kiss,
your warm embrace
lay heavy on my heart.
Visions of your smile flashing
before my eyes.
Taking me back in time,
a time to Us.
I find myself needing you, wanting you.
Reaching out for your hands,
the hands that once held mine.
I hold your picture close to me,
but all I hold is memories.
The memories of Us.

These words mean so much to me as I still lay at night alone, and these thoughts cross my mind my being.
I miss her but am told I need to move on it's been to long. good words thank you

Thanx for the comment on my poem, I am glad these words meant so much to you. Moving on is the hardest thing to face when your in love. We think our hearts will never heal, but in time all wounds do heal. Moving on does make us stronger, and our hearts do mend. There is someone waiting to give you all the love you deserve, and to take away all your lonely nights. Thanx again for your comment!!!!

Grasping Memories
I know a thousand people can relate to this! Loneliness, which isn't a good feeling at all. Wanting to be wanted, wanting to be loved. The hunger for love starts to grow and grow. The desperateness for an embrace, consolement, to be locked in his tender arms, you have said it all!!!!!!!!
You say I write with beauty and grace, you write 100 times better, because your style is very unique!!

You're prospering in your poetry! It's floetic and poetic!!
