I Return
18 March, 2004
Author: Teresa Ortberg
When life is void of all that is love,
I return to you
I immerse in the deep dark pool of memories, finding
the secrets that keep me alive.
Your sanity, your madness,
Your reality, your fantasy,
All are a part of my silent reflection
Can you read it on my fact or must
you see it in my eyes?
Can you hear it in my voice or must
you listen to my heart?
Can you feel it in my caress or must
you touch my fiery spirit?
When living is empty of life,
I return to you
