Remembering You
17 November, 2003
Author: Bench
The plane lands.
I disembark in a new land
Knowing not what the future holds.
All I see are new faces -
Cold, calculating eyes look down,
And I feel scared and alone.
I am lost in this sea of humanity
And I long for your embrace
To comfort my weary soul
I seek for your touch
To heal my aches and pains
So I can be strong once more.
And then the rains came
The memory flooding my head
As I remember how we use to enjoy the rain
Together me and you
And I find strength
As I get soaked to the skin.
