Saying Goodbye
13 November, 2003
Author: Bench
It's raining now my love
And I miss your warm embrace
I miss when we'd cuddle up together
Talking about nothing in particular
Or reading books together.
I remember those rainy days
When we'd sit by the fireplace
And I read you my poems
And you play your flute.
In the kitchen, we'd cook
Our favorite is your hot choco
Sipped when hot while waiting
For my pasta to bake.
I remember when we'd go out
On a rainy afternoon
And bathe in the rain
Lying on the wet grass
Watching a plane go by.
It is almost four thirty
And it is raining
The plane is about to leave.
I hope you'd look up
When the plane passes by
And remember that I once
Had been part of your life.
