For Every...
7 February, 2004
Author: Terrie*
for every encouraging word
I waste no more tears
for every uplifting word
I abandon another heavy load
for every human touch
I fall in a memorable dream
for every inspiring word
I stand up and become strong
for every vibrating laugh
every sensual smile
every soft whisper
I develop a sense of comfort
for every dark cloud
every thunderclap
every storm
every rainbow formed
I feel a new life coming back
for every lost and shy moment
for every lonely night
for every shared feeling
upon those that I craved
I feel every ounce of my blood
warming my soul
for every lost word
every season that’s past
I give praise to God
for every sense of feeling & thought
a constant reminder
for every second of being very much alive

Meridian (152.163.252.228) -- Wednesday, February 11 2004, 07:18 pm This poem is very deep, very emotional. I can see you're regaining your strength when you say, "I feel a new life coming back". Very good! Keep me posted! |
