I'm not trying to hold on
I'm just trying to remember
those days of yesterday
that seem so far away
yet you may be long lost and long gone
but in my heart
you will be a tattoo
and a loving memory only for me
when I feel weak
your memory will give me strength
when I feel sad
your memory will make me smile
when I feel lost
your memory will guide me back
when I feel lonely
your memory will be my company
when I mourn your loss
your memory will comfort me
when I skip a heartbeat
your memory will de-fib me back
In life I have moved on
but...your memory tattooed in my heart
will forever live on
