Looking Thru The Windows Of The Past

washing this 'lil blue olds of mine
took me back to a time
when you and I
played and fooled around

we ended up as wet
as the caddy we washed
we had so much fun
kids we were not

but in love, our hearts still so young
we always ended up
all soapy & soaking wet
kissing and snuggling
out in broad day light

the folks that saw us
were always happy to witness
the love that we shared out in view
we always glowed when we were together
even when we were apart (it wasn't from the soap)

even during our own space
reuniting was always a bliss
you were a rebirth tingling in my heart
before and after your sweet lips meet w/mine

together we'd merge and add our own touch
of soap suds upon one anothers nose
continued washing with the laughter
that we shared as we washed each other down w/the water hose
this vision is so close but yet so far and long ago

but still.....
those sweet wet memories will never fade & wash away
