All I Have Is Me
13 January, 2004
Author: Terrie*
the words I write
come from my heart
the things I see
I now see in my dreams
the love I hold
is what I give
I'm so lonely
all I have is me
the feelings I feel
lie in my soul
the love I lost
was married to me
the tears I shedd
belong to me
the heart that broke
was mine alone
a child so lost
is how I feel
I feel so blind
I cannot see
avoid in my heart
I am so empty
so lonely am i
laying here alone and cry
my smile turned upside down
my heart bears that same frown
since you and i
became only "I " is why
I am so lonely
all I have is me

Terrie* (65.148.215.177) -- Sunday, January 18 2004, 05:35 pm thanxs for making me a part of your day..i really appreciate your comments.. ...at the time of my loss , and i know many have gone thru it as well...i didn't think it was possible for life to go on..ya know what i mean? i was in shock...i was numb, confused i went thru every emotion possible..as i look back,yeap... i'm a surviver. i have become a stronger person because of that today...life is going on well for my little family and myself.i am amazed at life and what our hearts are capable of. there is absolute truth to 'God doesn't give us more than we can handle" in some respects...thanx again for reading /commenting. Have a great day!!!Terrie* |
