Smells & Sounds Of Christmas by Terrie*

Breath in what christmas day will tell
the aroma through out the house is a divine smell
Grandma's in the kitchen cooking and baking pies
Mothers, upstairs wrapping another surprise

Father's adding the final touch to the tricycle that the twins will share
Christmas lights shining glowing flickering everywhere
Granpa's sitting in his little chair in that warm little space
after adding yule logs to the fireplace

The children are oooooing and ahhhhing, peeking rattling gifts, guessing, imagination running wild
hoping to find what they are seeking
the sound of christmas bells in the air
every one is dressed and ready for church, they don't want to miss being there

how fun,riding a sleigh in the snow to start
brings out the true meaning of Love,
Joy and Peace and the many Miracles of Christmas in everyone's heart

Christmas carolers everywhere smiling and singing w/a happy tune
as they stand at everyones doorway, shout to all who could hear
to one and all we wish a life of good health and may you be w/you loved ones soon
from our home to yours, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!!

i am touched that you enjoy my work..on some of my poetry i must admit i found very boring, one in particular "my fav christmas's " dang...i should of ommited the xtra lines..but oh well ...i lived/learned as i yawned thru it :) Hve a Blessed New Year! Terrie*
