your poetic eyes...
wrap me up in their warmth
sing to me w/a heavenly voice
carry me off into the heavens

your poetic eyes
look directly at me w/love growing in your soul
embrace me w/the arms of love
comfort me with your spirit

your poetic eyes
touching ,feeling ,being, breathing
poetic hearts pumping
poetic hands sculpturing
poetic lips speaking each verse

your poetic eyes
have me under your spell
i am so... falling in love
the window to your soul
the key to your world

your poetic eyes
speak words unspoken
touch areas unseen
fusing my body to yours
keep me close to your heart...

Awesome work Terrie! I thought this poem to be so true from line to line! You totally embrace the fact of how some poetic lovers come to find each other in such an extravagant way of perspective and perceivement! Awesome work, totally got me a tear breaker!

Silkened Moon...
Thank you..i was debating on what word to use "embrace me w/the ARMS of love" or embrace me w/the WORDS of love" i guess either works.....my husband has always amazed me since day one..he didn't always use a pen for his poetry, sometimes he came out with them verbally from nowhere, no matter where we were he always managed to get my full attention....he was a true romantic...i always focused on his eyes as he resited..i could always see his heart deep within..thank you again i'm glad you enjoyed it..Have a great day!
