Taking time out from my busy day;
to tell you ...that you have touched my life in so many ways.
your words come alive & become a comfort to me;
no matter how far you may be.

I can feel & enjoy the touch of your comforting hand..
your passion and your pain;
just as I do a slight mist of the beautiful summer rain.
to you..... I toast & salute;

Perhaps we may have at one time crossed one anothers path on one of lifes busy streets;
you may have comforted me when I was exhausted and beat.
you may have been the one whom knocked at my door;
when tragedy had me confused & pacing the floor.
Perhaps you were the one God sent;
to find me when no one knew where I went.
you may have been the one that brought me back to reality;
and opened my naive eyes to what I refused to see.

Perhaps it was you;
I owe all my praises to.
for every tear that you dried;
when ever.. I burst out and cried.

Perhaps it was you.. when...I felt my forehead being kissed;
I then knew.... I was on your list.
you must have been the angel that was sent;
held me & told me, my feelings to vent.

you refused to leave;
until.. I was at peace with my grief.
and accepted the rainbow;
and taught my feelings to flow.

I thank you for breathing life into me;
thru your poetry that touched me .
in return ...I hope I can give that same something back;
I feel so blessed, nothing do I lack ....

you have become my laughter and my tears;
it is encouraging to know that your words are deep & sincere.
yet I sit and type from a different place;
you may never see the smile on my face.....

but...I do hope that you are aware......
that you put it there....

This is dedicated to Dreamer & all Poets ...even though I still have yet a lot more poems to read... and I do not comment on many..because there are just..so....many...everyone I read has touched me in different ways...God Bless each of you!!!!
