Daughters Of Mine
12 July, 2003
Author: Terrie*
i can tell, you miss your daughters...
your a wonderful mother-in-law i've come to know
you carry A burden thru out the day
you miss them dearly, they're close by,but..their reach seems far away
believe in your heart, they hold you near
someday from them you long hear
life isn't always fair
but know in your heart they do care
sometimes life throws us a curve
with our heart we observe
take the first step, that is a start
tell them what is in your heart
it would be ashame
if you were all thinking the same
if at this moment life was to end
no one placed that call and misunderstandings didn't amend...
think of your daughters, wisely choose...
keep silent you will surely lose...
to a daughter a mother is everything..
but a daughter to a mom....is much.. much... much.. more....

rosie (69.28.12.26) -- Tuesday, May 23 2006, 03:47 am A beautiful and so true, we can only raise our daughters to be themselves. If we teach them to be independent and think for themselves...We've done a good job even if we don't agree with them or they with us. Love is letting go and knowing we've done our best........... |
