Bother Not
26 July, 2003
Author: Bench
I hunger for your eyes.
They never look at me
The way they used to.
You only see my mistakes
And then you bother not to look.
I crave for your hands.
They never touch me
The way they used to.
You only touch my physical self
And then you bother not to touch.
I long for your ears.
They never hear me
The way they used to.
You only hear my problems
And then you bother not to listen.
I thirst for your mouth.
They never kiss me
The way they used to.
You only taste the bitterness
And then you bother not to kiss.
I seek for your company.
We've never been together
The way we used to.
You abhor me for who I am
And then you bother not to see the real me.
