Rose-bud

Two little girls that melted my heart
life was harsh from the start
a mother special as can be
became a close friend to me
she sacraficed all that she had
Her life had become hard and sad
She didn't let that interfere
There was nothing she didn't fear
Two little girls she loved so much
My life they did touch
There was a time her life was shaken
when the oldest died, part of her heart was taken
She did all in her power
To protect her remaining flower
One cannot avoid or control such an eclipse
But into her childs future she took a glimpse
To protect her from the pain
And not relive history again....
