Pain
9 July, 2003
Author: Bench
I can feel your pain.
Read it in your eyes,
They speak too much!
You drown it in laughter
But you are not killing it.
Instead you are losing
Your spirit, your life.
The pain is consuming
It burns out the zest
Within you!
And yet you suffer in silence!
Trying to be a strong person
Proving to the world
That you are stronger
