You Whom I Haven't Found
9 July, 2003
Author: Bench
By the light of the moon last night
I walk on the sandy beach going slow
Leaving nothing to chance that I might miss you
I searched for you whom I haven't found.
On and on by the light of the moon
The waves lapping at my feet
I ceased to grow tired, refusing to stop
I have to meet you whom I haven't found.
The Fates must be mad or they just don't want
Our paths to cross and become one
Yet I challenged everyone together with the gods
There's I and you whom I haven't found.
I catch glimpses of faces in the dark
Hoping to see the one face I so longed for
I will wait even if it takes forever
For me to know you whom I haven't found.
