Kiss Away The Tears
23 January, 2004
Author: Tricia
On the first date,
I laughed so hard I cried.
You leaned forward and
Kissed away my tears.
When they called you on the phone,
telling you, to start saying your goodbyes.
When I began to cry, you kissed away the tears.
Saying don't cry my love, and have no fear.
When you asked for my hand in marriage.
you were already prepared to kiss away the tears.
On our wedding day you kissed the tears away once more.
When I took you to the airport to send you back to the war.
You held me close and kissed my tears away.
When I got the news that I was going to have your child
I cried and wished you had been there to kiss away the tears.
