Each day I watch the news,
I hear of this and that soldier
being killed in the line of duty.
A truck was bombed, plane blew up.
And all I can do is think of you.
Praying your safe and no where near
the horrible tragedies.
It is sad that loved ones have to die,
yet I thank god each day that one of those
soldiers wasnt you my dear.
You are my love, my life,
my everything and wishing you was here with me.
Come home soon my darling dear,
and make me a soldiers wife.
