Leaving
23 July, 2003
Author: Tricia
Tears flow down our checks,
As we embrace for one last time.
Not wanting to let go,
Wishing I could stay in your arms forever.
War calls you away
School makes me stay.
Your wife is all I wish to be.
The one to see you through.
Helping you complete your dream of,
Fighting on that front line.
Don't cry, you keep telling me.
How can i not.
For i love you so.
Scared of what might happen.
Afraid that you will stop loving me.
Darlin come home soon
