Opposites
8 June, 2003
Author: Bench
I have much gumption in me
I would tend to believe that.
Haughty but not supercilious,
Confident and not afraid,
Terse yet full of aphorisms.
Nothing is concocted
Or even hypocritical.
There are no charades
Or even maliciousness.
Dexterous and not lame,
Blissful yet melodramatic,
Man but also woman.
