Happiness In A Cut
1 January, 2004
Author: Tzuhsi
Lines engraved on my legs
Scars that once bled
Written words upon my thigh
Things like
Fat
Ugly
And die
Stories of battles that were lost
And built up pain that twisted me into knots
Live life hoping to die
Live life in one big lie
So much pain it makes me cry
I cut a little more
Where I can just get by
Tears fall and hit my knees
Cut my wrists and begin to bleed
Happiness I find with every single slice
Free from all my hurt
The blade upon my skin
My life I desert

tzuhsi (152.163.253.33) -- Monday, January 5 2004, 04:50 am thanks for your coments. Yes this poem is about me Regretfully I have a book written on my body that will never go away. I just hope that my poem will make someone cut on a doll or something other than themselves so they don't have to look at the art work like I do |
Ash (63.53.118.184) -- Tuesday, January 6 2004, 12:25 am I could almost feel your pain as i read this poem. You have an amazing gift; to be able to reach others by words alone. This is a beautiful; yet heartbreaking poem. Well Done!! |
