I Cut

I cut to see myself bleed
I cut to be freed
I cut when I'm depressed
I cut when I'm a mess
I cut to rid the pain
I cut to clear my brain
I cut when I can't shout
I cut to let it out
I cut when I feel lost
I cut and I'm the boss
I cut all day and night
I cut when I'm full of fright
I cut to feel alive
I cut so I don't die

It might not solve the reasons that i do it but for that little bit of time it clears my head and i have no pain for those few minutes. The thing I learned from myself, is that poetry helps get the pain out as well, and it also shows people how you feel inside. That anger, pain, abuse, and hate that you feel about yourself can easily be helped, all you have to do is find someone who is willing to help, and learn how to help yourself as well. |
