i said i didn't understand
how love could move so fast
how a man & woman could fall in love
talking on the internet

i thought i must be crazy
this just can't be real
but i saw your heart & felt my love
and knew that it was true

we knew there were obstacles
we'd have to overcome
you said we'd stand together
i wouldn't have to be alone

you said we had help from up above
with angels standing by
to give us strength to hold our love
that it will only grow

i once told you that i love you
enough to let you go
i said that it would break my heart
but i'd never let you know

i hope you know i understand
and believe your love is true
i'll never lose this feeling
this love i have for you
