Puppy Dance
9 January, 2001
Author: Victoria
As fluffy as a puppy or Peter Rabbit
The snow falls softly down
To the ground in sparkling piles
Of cold yet beautiful snow
The puppy bounds from pile to pile
A dark spot in a prairie of whiteness
His tail pokes out and that is all you see
As he sniffs a trail and bounds about
No care of the cold as I call to him
My cheeks are red and my hands are cold
He skips back with eager delight
Tail wagging hard shattering bits of ice
He has completed his puppy dance
And recieves hugs of applause
Trotting in to the comfort of his home
Awaiting tomorrow's great snowy adventure
