Ivory Night
25 December, 2002
Author: Will Berry
How frail the moonlight,
On an ivory night,
Sending translucent shadows,
Across the lawn,
Encasing and changing,
All that does belong,
Capturing a different optic,
In the warm hearth of my mind,
Seeing a different world,
An honest world that is kind,
This darkness that is so bright,
On an ivory night.
