Inspiration
22 July, 2002
Author: Will Berry
Defining inspiration,
Is like defining God,
To perceive, one must first conceive,
Taking that which is given,
If only in fraction amounts.
See a thin sun ray,
Coming through the morning curtain,
Announcing the coming day,
Use it for your inspiration,
From that one must build,
A stimulus intellectually filled,
Until completion.
And if the morning is cloudy and gray,
Should you forfeit today?
Look out, look about,
Something will come into view,
Something fascinating and new,
And when it is in your sight,
Then begin to write,
Then begin to live.
