Falling Betrayal
11 February, 2003
Author: Xeracy
Even if I wasn't controlled
I'd still be doing this.
If I hadn't of had that drink
I'd still be driving this winding road.
If I hadn't of popped those pills
I'd still be walking this steep path.
If I hadn't of smoked that joint
I'd still be inching to this cliff.
If I hadn't of betrayed my love
I wouldn't be doing this.
I wouldn't be crying.
I wouldn't be trying.
I wouldn't be falling.
I wouldn't be dying.
If I hadn't of betrayed my love
I would be in her arms still.
I would be smiling.
I would be laughing.
I would be kissing.
I would be loved.

Martin Vann (67.75.180.33) -- Monday, February 24 2003, 11:51 pm Xeracy, How wonderful it would be, to see the road ahead, before we travel, feeling free. Upon every road I ever drove or compass course I ever sailed, I always found, hidden in my course, like you, a cross roads or crose wind if, you will. Myself with heart, did I proceed the course, no matter be it driven by gasoline or wind blown sail, forward, I did go. There were harbours and cafes along my way, that would have sheltered me for many days. But, no, I turned away to the open road, the raging sea and now I see, what I have done to me! An Island, that has no trees, a road, as bumpy as can be, that is the course I plotted, and its all because of what is inside of Me. Xeracy, since now your heart's eyes, tell you of all they have seen, reflect upon yourself, the course, you will set next. The courses you have taken, only left you lonely and forsaken. Re-set your sails, review the road you take, and forgive yourself, of all of mistakes. Travel forward, now you know what not to do, to prevent more mistakes. If, you do, you will find, you are wanted and you are needed, just re-set your course. You yourself, are a second chance, up ahead, treasure, love, romance! Like this poem, A Lot, made me think.
