Nobody Wants To Know

I don't know about you,
But I've found myself.
I'm at the bottom of a tissue box,
Soaking up peoples tears.
Someone has to do the dirty work.
The jobs that people look down on.
Something everyone likes to look at,
But never wants to be.
They say I'm perfect.
Lies.
They don't know
What I'm like inside.
They can see my mask.
It's far from the truth.
Show people what they "want" to see.
They despise whats real.
There is no problem with this.
Just lie.
Everything works better that way.
Everythings easier they say.
No one wants to know you.
Lie.

last line

'no one wants to know you. lie' so someone does want to know 'you' the whole peom made it sound like no one gave a 'fuck' but that last line sorta threw it off. cool. i like that. good work.

its true xeracy. good writing. I found people just want a happy face.no problems, but the ones that really care listen to your problems, others are acquaintances and just ignore their treatment. My view anyways.

True

Well written, yes I'm sure many of us wear our masks at times, pity people can't accept us for what we are

Maybe we can start here... by accepting other people for what they are. The golden rule right?...
