Paradise
14 February, 2004
Author: Your Melody
She's been wishing on the stars at night
that she'll someday be free of these bars that are squeezing her too tight.
Further and further away she floats
bread crumbs she leaves, everything she's ever wrote.
A year gone by
away they fly
The bottom fell through
she knows this at least is true.
She forgot how to fight
with one last chance to feel all right.
Now she tries to hold it in
and only sees what could have been.
Nightmares in the day she dreams
living in her paradise, nothing's as it seems.
