Unexpected

Author: Your Melody
I was living in a surreal place and time
a dreamland frightingly all mine.
I'm seeing it all now in a totally new light
trying to hard to realize why I was always put through a fight.
There's so much time cannot erase
like the hurting of my soul, emptiness of my heart
or the ignorance of my mind in this case.
Blind are my eyes, deaf are my ears,
this charade has been going on for way too many years.
Raindrops from my eyes begin to fall
it was for you I always use to call.
Today I saw a girl walking with her dad
you could tell he was still her hero which made me kind of sad.
My daddy walked away from me
that haunting day I yelled for him way back when I was only three.
So right now I have one last dream to wish upon the stars
because you're once again back behind those god-forsaken bars.
I want you to have a great time in your jail cell daddy
and I hope you burn in hell!
