My Final Plea
6 August, 2003
Author: Your Melody
I'm over you
you're in my past
I knew that
we could never make it last
All the pain
Misery
Heartache
I'd always be left
wondering
how late you'd stay out
how long
I'd have to stil and wait
to get my kiss goodnight
Well listen to me now
and hear my final plea
I'm over you
I have to keep reminding myself
just to keep the tears away
So that
when I hear you finally say
I love her
I won't feel hurt
I won't feel pain
that's why you call me a dreamer
because I wish I had a fairy Godmother
to make all my dreams come true
Sometimes they do
Sometimes
they don't
So until I finally find my fairy Godmother
Everytime
I hear you say
I love her
It hurts
not just
in my mind
but
also in my body
and soul
