Now What? Linger

Warm tears falling down my cheeks
Can breathe, cant think
cant even speak
the worlds a sand trap, and im about to sink
whats left to do?
when no ones helping you
“u did this to yourself,” they say
“maybe you’ll change one day”
But I guess ive grown cold
Because this game is getting old
I never again want to try
It only leaves me with silent cries
Screaming but no one hears
Back again to my endless list of fears
Returning to wishing my life away
Eager to find sum better days

Pamela (199.216.176.253) -- Thursday, October 9 2003, 07:12 pm That is a powerful poem. Really intense emotion. I liked the emphasis on how people say that you caused your own problems and that maybe you'll change one day - heard those so many time before, and now i know from personal experience that sometimes you need someone to take you by the hand and guide you, or you'll never change. Once again, beautiful poem. |
