Fly
7 March, 2003
Author: Zak
I want to spread my wings.
Nothing else matters to me.
If only I could spread my wings I could be free,
Free from this world for as long as I want.
Trust in who I am,
And spread my wings,
And fly,
And fly,
Away from this world...

Martin Vann (65.57.57.79) -- Sunday, March 23 2003, 08:42 pm Zak, I have read four of your works posted on 03-17-03, your are having a tough time. My question is this, regarding this poem, FLY, I'd like to hear where you would go and what would you find, that would ease this troubled time. Does this place have a name? Could you write a poem about this place? You have nibbled around the edges of what we would all like to find, but, I'd "really," like to hear more about what you had in mind. Thanks, from an inquring mind, I'd like to hear more. MartinV |
Rosanne Carney (159.218.12.78) -- Tuesday, March 25 2003, 10:03 pm This is beautiful to me. The way I understand it, you wrote about the inner lift that comes from believing in yourself and having the confidence to trust your own abilities. Very good work; I look forward to reading more. |
