Frustrated Bliss
18 May, 2002
Author: Zubi
i took a glance
and i thought i had a chance
but then i realized
that there was no chemistry
or any romance
just a quick fix
to satisfy your lips
and seal it with the demon's kiss
i felt butterflies
but it was nothing but lost lies
that gullibility had came into play
and i landed flat on my face
and just the other day
my broken heart went away
all i can say...
i vow
to myself
to love someone, with love returned
and never get burned
by the wiles of false bliss
