I ran blindly to you
Not seeing all the wrong
Or not wanting to
...More ignoring it all...
And I stayed
Where all the pain was
Where all the tears came
Where disappointment was most popular
But I wanted so badly to be happy with you

That I let the little good over-rule all the bad
I let the few smiles outweigh all the tears
I feel like such a fool
Having such a kind heart
Giving more chances than deserved
Giving more than deserved
My heart for example
You never deserved it
Yet I gave you most of it
Everyone was right
I deserve more
I deserved more than the tears
More than pain
More than waiting
More than you
But I never wanted more
I only wanted you
